Refunds & Processing

Refunds are processed within 10 working days from the cancellation date after deducting a 5% processing fee. This applies to all bookings made directly through The Haven Grandeur.

For bookings made via third-party platforms (such as MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.), cancellation and refund policies are governed by the respective platforms and must be addressed directly with them.

What is a Future Stay Voucher?

A Future Stay Voucher (FSV) is a credit issued by The Haven Grandeur in partnership with StayVista, valid for rebooking any of our properties across India within 1 year from the date of issuance.

  • Choosing an FSV ensures a full credit with no processing fee deducted.
  • If you opt for a bank refund instead, a 5% deduction will be applied.
  • FSVs can be used multiple times until the full value is exhausted.
  • The voucher can be applied directly during payment for a new booking.

Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling is permitted only once per booking, for the same property, if requested between 12 and 6 days before the scheduled check-in.

  • A 30% rescheduling fee will apply, and the request is subject to availability.
  • The new booking must be made within 3 months of the original booking date.
  • Bookings made with partial payments are not eligible for rescheduling.
  • Any balance remaining after applying the rescheduling fee and adjusting the new booking amount will be carried forward to the new booking and is non-refundable.

No Refund Policy

The following booking types are strictly non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled:

  • Bookings made using the "NOCANCEL" coupon code.
  • Peak date bookings (e.g., long weekends, festivals, or national holidays).
  • Bookings made using partial payments.
  • Rescheduled bookings are also ineligible for refunds.

For last-minute cancellations due to unforeseen emergencies, The Haven Grandeur will attempt to secure a replacement booking. If successful, the amount received (after a 5% deduction) will be refunded. If not, the booking will be treated as a no-show with no refund.

Meals

Meal cancellations made at least 2 days prior to check-in are eligible for a full refund.

Home Rules and Policy

  • • The location of the villa is secluded.
  • • In case of a power outage, the generator can support a few appliances for up to 7 hours. Additionally, the inverter can support the lights and TV for up to 8 hours. Power backup does not support ACs.
  • • Guests are requested to wear life jackets compulsorily for all water activities.
  • • Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care.
  • • The villa houses many vintage artifacts and paintings. Please be cautious around them.
  • • Smoking is allowed in the lawn area only.
  • • Alcohol consumption is permitted in designated areas.
  • • Due to the property's natural surroundings, guests are advised to remain cautious of bugs and insects.
  • • The caretaker resides on the premises.
  • • CCTV cameras monitor the living room and external areas for security purposes.
  • • This is a standalone property.
  • • Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. Network quality may vary with availability.
  • • Loud music is not permitted after 10 PM.
  • • Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.
  • • All major mobile networks work fairly well in this area.
  • • Pets are not allowed at this property.
  • • Bachelor groups are not permitted. However, exceptions may be made with prior request and a refundable security deposit.
